90s kids - Quit stealing MY culture.
What makes me really sad about this rant (the original one) is that it assumes the world began in the 1980’s. And it also knocks people who actually identify with a time period that they didn’t live in, whereas most kids have no interest in anything that came before them until they are 30 years old and realize that life won’t last forever.

My brother and I just discovered our old 8-bit Nintendo, and all the games we used to love - maybe 25-30 in total, many of which we picked up for a dollar apiece when the Super Nintendo came out.

Bank of America raised $19 billion of new equity. It paid the government $45 billion of TARP funds back. To make up the difference, it borrowed $26 billion of new funds from the Fed (at a subsidized rate, no less).
