Wow. Thank you, Tim. You’re one of the people to whom Zadi and I owe Epic Fu’s success and certainly one of the most important people in web video. We’re all pulling for each other’s success to try and take this industry to the next level, and Next New Networks has fundamentally understood how to make and support great shows because of you.
moth:
Congratulations to my friend Steve Woolf, co-creator of the great Epic Fu, on his new gig, and to my friends at blip.tv for making a brilliant commitment to supporting independent talent by bringing on one of the greatest talents in the business. Having worked with both Steve and blip.tv for years, this is great news for the West Coast creator community, and everyone working in our field. I can’t wait to see what Steve accomplishes with blip.tv’s already rocking team, and to collaborate on more great projects with them.
Today we announced that we’re opening an L.A. office for blip.tv and hiring the awesome Steve Woolf from Epic Fu to be our West Coast Director of Content Development.
Check out the story by Liz Shannon Miller on blip.tv’s West Coast expansion on NewTeeVee here.
Steve knows all aspects of producing, distributing and monetizing a Web show through his work with Zadi Diaz on Epic Fu. He’s been working with us at blip.tv since we started the company 5 years ago. We couldn’t be more excited about expanding operations out West, working more closely with the incredible talent in Los Angeles, and having Steve on board. This is a great day for blip.tv, and for show creators looking to stay independent and build a brand on their own terms.
